OBAMA NO ENERGY POLICY

Well Obama has certainly clarified his energy policy. That is no drilling and no pipeline from Canada to help the USA with more oil. The Keystone Pipeline has been proposed for a number of years. It will bring oil from Canada to Texas. This could bring a minimum of 20,000 jobs and maybe lower gas prices. Obama is cowtowing to the environmentalist in his opposition to this pipeline. He won't let us drill in the USA, off shore and now he won't let a friendly country Canada move the oil to the US. So what will happen now. Canada will probably sell the oil to China. There is probably more risk shipping oil on tankers to China than the pipeline to the USA. I think Obama wants high gas prices so that he can push his ridiculous wind and electric cars. There might be a place for these but they will not replace oil, coal and natural gas. They are projecting gas to go from $4 - $5 this summer. If so I hope this is a nail in Obama's political coffin. That in unemployment should be enough for the average American to see that his policies are taking us in the wrong direction. I'm sure the Unions and the food stamp recipients are not worried about this because they are not the average working american. We need a President who will look after Americans not worried about the rest of the world first. Right now the Iranians are threatening to close the Gulf to oil tankers. This alone may increase gas prices. Other countries like China, Russian and other countries are starting to buy cars and other vehicles and they are using more oil. The demands on oil are going up and we need to look at our own resources first. So what do you think?
