DR. GAURANG SHAH, RICHMOND, KY EVALUATION

My personal experience with Dr Gaurang Shah has not been good. Dr Shah works at nursing homes and at the hospice in Richmond KY. One of my elderly relatives had him for a doctor. The relative was in the hospital and the palladine care doctors and the hospital doctors recommended that the person go to a hospice. Dr Shah did not consider the patient nor the family's desires and he denied the person entry to the hospice. Dr Shah had not seen the patient for a couple of weeks and did not know what had happened at the hospital / tests etc. The individual died shortly afterwards. The palledine doctors and the hospital doctors really couldn't believe his attitude and disregard for the patient and family's desires. Therefore I would have to rate Dr Shah's conduct as unsatisfactory.
