WILMORE, KENTUCKY CROSS IN FIGHT WITH FREEDOM FROM RELIGION FOUNDATION

Wilmore, Kentucky is a small town of 3700 people SW of Lexington Kentucky. It also is the home of Asbury University and Asbury Theological Seminary, a Christian college. Wilmore has a water tower with a lighted cross on top of it. The water tower and cross belonged to the University for years. At some point it was transferred to the City of Wilmore. It has been a fixture in this town for years. Now the Freedom From Religion Foundation out of Madison Wisconsin wants the City to remove it. These vultures probably have never been to Wilmore nor have they seen the cross in person. The fight is on. The Freedom From Religon Foundation seems to have a staff on only lawyers whose job it is to sue anyone for anything close to religion. They want crosses removed from WWI memorials. Ten Commandment plaques removed. Coaches to not pray with their players. I guess they are a bunch of pond scum. Do you know why you never hear of sharks attacking lawyers  - professional courtesy. Well the people of Wilmore are putting up crosses all over town. Maybe the City will give the University the water tower back and then the FFRF can go screw themselves.

GO WILMORE
